When considering what AP classes will be best for a future career in entrepreneurship, there are two things to think about:
- What AP classes should you take because they will substitute for graduation requirements?
- What AP classes should you take because they will enhance your experience in the future and help you get more out of it.
To figure out which AP classes will substitute for graduation requirements, you need to look at the specific colleges that you are interested in applying to or going to. Some colleges will take the credit for the AP classes if you get a 3, 4, or 5 on the AP exam, but some will only take it if you get a 5. So to answer this question, you will need to do some research.
For the second question, there is a simple list of AP classes that will help you in terms of knowledge in college. I would recommend you take:
AP Economics (Macro)
AP Economics (Micro)
AP English Language or AP English Literature
AP Psychology
Any AP Language class
The main purpose of taking these specific AP classes is because they will allow you to get an understanding of what your career in the future may look like. Even though these AP classes will be the most beneficial for knowledge in the entrepreneurship field, I still would recommend you take other varieties of AP classes, so you can learn about different fields and expand your horizons.
